The second round of the ATR delivered a competitive field and fast-paced action, with Michael Harding and James Thornburn claiming a commanding victory at the Great Alpine Rally.
Piloting their Subaru WRX STI, the duo set the benchmark early and never looked back, finishing with a total time of 2:37:09.5. Their performance not only secured outright honours but also placed them firmly at the top of the C9 class, underlining a clean and consistent run across all stages.
Second place went to Jonathan Moir and Darragh Lynch in their Ford Mk 2 Escort, finishing +1:54.2 behind the leaders. The pair delivered an impressive drive, topping the C3 class and maintaining pressure throughout the event.
Rounding out the podium were Justin Waterhouse and Adrian Bryant in a Mitsubishi Evo X. Despite finishing +7:43.7 off the lead, they secured first in C5, heading a tightly contested class battle that featured heavily in the top ten.
The result marks a strong start to the ATR season, with Harding and Thornburn laying down an early marker. With depth across multiple classes and strong turnout.
